Emergency LightingWe can install emergency lighting, maintain and test existing installations across East Kent including Canterbury, Faversham, and Dover. In the event of a lighting failure (whether it be caused by a power cut or an on-site problem) emergency lighting will reduce the risk of injury. This is particularly important in areas where there is no natural light or any change of level. It will also help in sorting out the cause of the problem and reduce the fire risk associated with the use of candles etc. Adding an emergency light by your consumer unit can be very helpful if the lights trip off! The correct design of an emergency lighting installation to meet the requirements of public building needs a specialist lighting designer to work with us to ensure we meet the light levels set out in the British Standards and is practical to install. Fortunately we have done this many times and can ensure a smooth process from start to finish for you. Modern LED emergency lights allow greater spacing of the light than in the past due to focused lenses in the lights. Please note that emergency lighting should be tested periodically.
